Nonprofit Website Redesign on WordPress: A Student Thesis Brought to Life
CLIENT WORKA student’s final-year thesis became a real-world redesign: we rebuilt a nonprofit’s 2006 website on WordPress, with sign language support and a custom donation system.
The Challenge
The starting point was anything but ordinary. The organization agreed and worked to let a student build the redesign as their final-year thesis project. It is a decision we find genuinely inspiring, and one that shaped the whole collaboration. Together, we took that foundation, refined the design, and rebuilt everything on WordPress to give the team a modern, intuitive interface they could actually own. But the real shift went deeper than technology. The nonprofit reworked all of its content to be clearer and more immediate, and we made the site speak to everyone — including a sign language version, something the previous site never offered. We also built a custom, automated donation system designed to make supporting the cause effortless.
A modern, clearer, maintainable foundation
From hard-coded to WordPress, we moved the site off its rigid 2006 codebase onto a CMS (WordPress), giving the team a clean, intuitive interface to update content themselves. Aside some advices and best practices, no developer is required anymore!

Effortless, automated giving
For the first time (and for ourselves too), the website speaks to a deaf and hard-of-hearing audience through a dedicated sign language version with videos. Turning inclusion from an afterthought into a core feature.
We also designed a bespoke, automated donation flow that makes supporting the cause simple and frictionless, freeing the team from manual follow-up.
The Feedback
We are delighted with our new website developed by Fources Agency, now rebranded as Idea Nest! We went from an outdated, information-heavy site to a clean, modern, and concise one. Visitors can now easily find what they’re looking for, and the overall browsing experience feels light and effortless.
The site is also now accessible in LSFB, which was a key priority for us. Managing and updating the content ourselves is straightforward — the tool is intuitive and offers both flexibility and great possibilities.
On top of all that, the personalized support was outstanding: the training was clear and easy to follow, and the after-sales follow-up was just as attentive.
